- -30Akitsu OEAssociate Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering and ManagementAkitsu Oe received her B.L.A. in literature from Nagoya University in 1992 and her major was archeology. She obtained her M.S. in Policy and Planning Sciences from University of Tsukuba in 2009, and her Ph.D. in Management from University of Tsukuba in 2012. Dr. Oe worked for Accenture as a management consultant after graduating from Nagoya University, from 1992 to 1998. After she left Accenture, she became a freelance management consultant and provided consulting services to many companies for supporting system development projects until she enrolled at University of Tsukuba in 2007. After earning her Ph.D., she began working for Nihon University. Dr. Oe's main research topic has been organizational learning mechanisms beyond the boundary, such as organization, country, and time, using multivariate analysis, spatio-temporal statistical analysis, network analysis, simulation, and machine learning.
