- -6Mitsutoshi ARAMAKIProfessor, Department of Electrical and Electronic EngineeringMitsutoshi Aramaki is a professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, College of Industrial Technology of Nihon University. He received his B.S. and M.Sc. from Kyushu University in 1991 and 1993, respectively, and his Ph.D. from Nagoya University in 2001. His doctoral research theme was “Characteristics of one-component plasma in a torus-type RF trap.” Dr. Aramaki worked at Nagoya University from 2001 to 2013. He visited Ruhr University in Germany and UCSD in the United States during this period as a short-term guest researcher. Then, he moved to Nihon University in 2014. His main research theme is precision spectroscopy of plasma. Recently, he has been researching the application of optical vortex and ghost imaging into plasma spectroscopy. He is a member of the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research (JSPF), the Physical Society of Japan (JPS), and the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP). In addition, he chaired the editorial board of Plasma and Fusion Research in 2020 and 2021, which is an electronic journal published by JSPF.Research Achievements1)Modification of laser-induced fluorescence spectrum by additional azimuthal Doppler effect in optical vortex beams, Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 59 SHHB04~SHHB04, (2020).
