- -28Mitsuhiko MEGUROAssociate Professor, Department of Mathematical Information EngineeringMitsuhiko Meguro is an associate professor at the Department of Mathematical Information Engineering, College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University. He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from the Musashi Institute of Technology (currently Tokyo City University) in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from Keio University in 2000. He was a research associate at the University of Electro-Communications from 2000 to 2003 and subsequently became a research associate at Yamagata University. Dr. Meguro joined the Department of Mathematical Engineering, College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University in 2006. His research interests are in the areas of nonlinear signal processing, digital image/video processing, human visual systems, and machine learning. He was a research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in 1999.
