- -24Aiko UEMURAAssistant Professor, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Aiko Uemura is an assistant professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, College of Industrial Technology of Nihon University. She received a B.E. degree from the Polytechnic University in 2009, an M.E. degree from Waseda University in 2011, and a Ph.D. from Waseda University in 2016, all in engineering. She was a research associate in the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering, Waseda University from 2014 to 2016. She was a research assistant at the Department of Information Science, College of Humanities and Sciences, Nihon University from 2017 to 2021, and then she moved to the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, College of Industrial Technology in 2021. Dr. Uemura's research interests include music information processing, audio signal processing, and machine learning.
