-  -8Ryuichi SHIMOYAMAProfessor, Department of Electrical and Electronic EngineeringRyuichi Shimoyama received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Toyama University in 1979 and 1981, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in System Science from Okayama University in 1994. He has been a professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nihon University since 2009. He was also an invited researcher at the Center for Intelligence Systems of Vanderbilt University, USA and at Polo Sant’Anna Valdera of Pisa University, Italy, from 2005 to 2006. Dr. Shimoyama’s current research interests include articial intelligence in auditory systems and robotics.
