─ 17 ─Kazuhiro Akihama was born in Japan in 1959. He received B. Eng. and M. Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, in 1982, 1984, respectively. He received Dr. Eng. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Nagoya University in 1994. He joined Toyota Central Research and Development Inc. in 1984. His research interests include laser diagnostics, engine combustion and modeling of soot formation. Dr. Akihama is a member of the Combustion Society of Japan, The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers and Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan Inc.Yuya Saito was born in Japan in 1997. He received B. Eng. degrees in Sustainable Engineering from Nihon University, Japan, in 2020. Currently he is a graduate student in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nihon University. His main area of research interest is plasma application. Mr. Saito is a member of the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research.Taisei Segawa was born in Japan in1999. He received B. Eng. degrees in Sustainable Engineering from Nihon University, Japan, in 2021. Currently he is a graduate student in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nihon University. His main area of research interest is plasma application. Mr. Segawa is a member of the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research.Yasunori Ohkuma was born in Japan in 1966. He received B. Sc., M. Sc. and Dr. Sc. degrees in Physics from Nihon University in 1991, 1993, and 1996, respectively. From 1997 to 2008, he was an Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. Since 2009, he has been with the College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include electrostatic discharge, discharge plasma, and plasma application. He is a member of the Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research, the Physical Society of Japan, the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, and the Institute of Electrical Installation Engineers of Japan.Eiichi Takahashi was born in Japan in 1967. He received B. Sc., M. Sc. and Dr. Sc. degrees in Physics from Tsukuba University in 1989, 1991, and 1994, respectively. From 1994 to 2000, he was a Researcher at Electro-Technical Laboratory (ETL). From 2001 to 2020, he was a Senior Researcher at National Institute for Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Since 2020, he has been with the College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include E-fuel and plasma-assisted combustion, and other plasma applications.
