4When people think of applying for the graduate school, the challenge for everyone is how to come up with the fees of several million yen over the two-year period. That’s why we urge students to look into scholarships. In recent years, various companies, research institutes, local groups and foundations have set aside benefit-type scholarships for graduate school students amid rising needs for human resources with more advanced knowledge and capabilities. Many students are making use of the scholarships. Some of the scholarships provide a financial incentive for research activities at the university by students who have achieved outstanding academic results and another system enables students to learn while receiving income as a Teaching Assistant (TA). A program supporting aspiring students has been extensively developed, thus the first step in applying for a scholarship is to consult with the Student Affairs Section at the college. A passion to learn and a proactive attitude to grasp opportunities with both hands are required in order to seize future possibilities. Nihon University has implemented a system of tuition reduction for privately funded international students with excellent academic results. Students recognized as eligible to qualify for tuition reduction receive a 20% reduction in their tuition fees (based on fiscal 2025 results). Students wanting the tuition reduction must submit an application to the Student Affairs Section of their affiliated department after enrolling. Please contact the Student Affairs Section of the relevant department for details. *Please note that this system is subject to review.Tuition reduction for privately-funded international studentsOption to Learn at the GraduateSchool with a Scholarship [Scholarships] Nihon University Furuta scholarship ¥200,000Nihon University Robert F.
