─ 20 ─Biographical Sketches of the AuthorsShin Yamaguchi received the M. Eng. degree in civil engineering from Nihon University and joined IHI Construction Materials Co., Ltd in 2006. He became a Research Associate in 2010 and then an Assistant Professor in 2014 at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University. He has been a full-time Senior Lecturer since 2017 at the same institution. As a member of the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University, he has been actively studying low-temperature autoclave curing of silica fume-blended concrete for reduction in both environmental impact and production costs, utilizing his experience in the production eld of secondary concrete products. He was awarded his Dr. Eng. degree for his research work entitled "A Study on Low-temperature Autoclave Curing of Silica Fume-blended Concrete" in 2013. His current research focus is on establishment and practical application of the technology. He is a member of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), the Japan Concrete Institute, the Society of Inorganic Materials and the Society of Materials Science, Japan. Masami Urawa is a professor of the College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University, Japan. He was born in Tokyo, Japan, on January 2, 1963. He received his M. Sc. from Chuo University, in 1987 and D.Eng. from Nihon University, in 2007.Dr. M.Uzawa has been engaged in the study of cement science, fresh and hardened concrete property, and civil engineering materials. He is a member of JCI, JSCE, SIMJ and ACI.Yoshinari Ito is a Professor with the College of Industrial Technology, Nihon University. He was born in Tokyo, Japan, on March 21, 1956. Dr. Ito received his Master of Engineering in 1983 and Doctor of Engineering in 2010 from Nihon University. He specializes in the study of concrete. His research areas are: (1) concrete engineering; (2) civil engineering materials/ construction/construction management; and (3) structural engineering. Among his research subjects are: (1) Study on Permeability of Concrete; (2) Study on Rationalization for Field Work of Concrete; and (3) Study on Utilization of Rubber Waste Material for Concrete. He is a member of JSMS (The Society of Materials Science, Japan), JCI (Japan Concrete Institute) and JSCE (Japan Society of Civil Engineers).
