What‘s Industrial Technology

Experience
&
Liberal Arts

We were born in 1952 amidst the post-war reconstruction. As the one and only faculty of Industrial Technology in Japan, we have nurtured individuals capable of leading the development of this manufacturing powerhouse. The number of graduates we have sent into the world has exceeded 90,000.
The fascination of Industrial Technology lies not just in the 'product' itself but in the act of 'creating things.' Shaping a product that has never existed before is merely a stepping stone. The goal of Industrial Technology is to generate innovations that meet societal expectations and people's aspirations.
"We want to make the impossible possible by combining existing technologies," "anticipate economic and social changes and swiftly meet the needs of producers and consumers," and "establish production bases that generate employment in towns and instill pride in residents." We hope for ambitious manufacturing endeavors driven by such aspirations.
We also provide a unique talent development program. What you acquire here is not limited to technical skills alone. You can formulate strategies and cultivate managerial skills to move companies, organizations, and people. By developing these capabilities, we produce individuals who can leverage sophisticated technology and Mid-Tech to create new value.
To all of you who will bear the responsibility for the future manufacturing powerhouse, aim to be leaders who guide grand projects to success, extending beyond the confines of the engineer's role.
